Amigurumi Work Shop with C Yarn Hut

Hi, I'm Clara, the creator of C Yarn Hut, your crochet teacher. I have no formal background about Art, but I love it. I am a dental assistant during daytime and crafter at night. I love knitting and crocheting. My first knitting technique was taught by my mom and gradually I began to explore crocheting and learning about new patterns. Even though crochet is my part time, I have huge passion of crafting and crocheting. I usually participate in 4 to 6 different craft shows in Vancouver and Toronto. You can also find my work in the retail stores.

Ok, that’s all about me. Let’s go through the detail you would like to know …
Learning style:
  • One on One.
  • What you will learn -  Basic stitches, how to read the pattern in English format and Japan chart.
  • 4 or 8 lessons for beginner workshop, your choice. (Min. 4 lessons)
Age range:
  • 11+
Date and Time:
  • Sunday (10:00am – 1:00pm)
  • Monday and Thursday will open 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
  • Saturday night workshop will open on demand (7:30pm - 9:00pm), for adult only.  (April - Aug)
  • The workshop will be closed from September to December due to the high-demand season.

Location:
  • Oak Street Studio, 8930 Oak Street, Vancouver BC, V6P 2B7
Price:
  • Age 11-15: $160 (4 lessons) or $320 for a completed workshop (8 lessons). All prices do not include a DIY Kit. 60 min per lesson.
  • Age 16+ : $180 (4 lessons) or $360 for a completed workshop (8 lessons). All prices do not include a DIY Kit 90 min per lesson.
  • DIY Kit: $30-40, you can pick the one you like in the first lesson.
Materials:
  • Everything you need in the C Yarn Hut DIY Kit, and I will provide the yarn and crochet hook to you for practicing. And you will receive a C Yarn Hut tote, to carry your DIY Kit project and the note for each lesson.
  • If you have your own pattern, you can get the yarn and hook at the craft store.  I am willing to provide the information where you should get the materials you need. 
Primary goal:
  • You can complete a finished amigurumi.
